A Scary, Scary Day

Yes, Halloween costume shopping is on today. And I'm very, very scared.

The kids seem to think they can be anything they want. Ah, no. I have the wallet, I have final say. But at least they're into the scare factor. Nope. Nothing cute for my kids. Of course, last year I had a pumped up 4-yr old Iron Man to contend with, but he's over that. Oh well. Enjoy your Saturday, and pray for me.

Good luck today! I have 2 children myself and I have to ask them not to be too scary. My daughter wanted to be Scream. I was like no! You are still my girl, can we tame it down a little. Needless to say she wasn't happy with me. Oh she is only 8, can only imagine what next year is going to bring me :)

I do need to ask you... I love your Cougar Falls series :D You have the Silver Fox Clan listed as coming soon, can you say when you have this book is planned to be released?

Thanks Marie, hope your costume shopping goes well today :)

Thanks, Michele. Costume shopping was a success. I have a swamp creature and a ghoul who scared himself. My six year old just HAD to have the costume of a ghoul who's eyes light up, except when he looked at himself in the mirror in the dark, the red glowing eyes that were a must-have scared the dickens out of him. Now I have them tucked away. Too funny.

Oh, sorry, and about the Cougar Falls books... I have an outline of the story but no set date on writing it yet. After another three orfour projects that will take me into the spring, I hope to get to it. Then I'd like to write a few of them. But Ty of the silver foxes is my next hero from Cougar Falls.

Awesome! Well awesome it's about Ty, but not awesome that it will be at least a year from now before we see it :( Us readers are so demanding aren't we :)

Glad you had success in the costume hunt :) Don't mean to laugh at your son but that sounds like something my son would do :)
